Dublin After thirty-eight of ministry in
Bellinter Conference Centre, the Sisters of Sion have now moved to Dublin to
continue their ministry in new ways. Sion's special call, to develop a new
relationship between the Church and the Jewish people, continues to open up new
opportunities in the field of justice and peace. Inter-faith, inter-cultural
relations and racism are key areas for Sion in Ireland. Over the past years,
there has been an opportunity to continue the work in biblical teaching in
St. Patrick's
College, Drumcondra, Dublin 9. Our new link with
Mater Dei Institute is also
a welcome challenge to initiate teachers in Jewish-Christian learning for the
new syllabus in religious education.
New opportunities will be explored including the important field
of racism
lessons we continue to learn from the Holocaust.
