Walk for Peace
British Friends of Neve Shalom - Wahat al-Salam?
Would you like to join a gentle Walk for Peace on Wimbledon Common on Sunday morning, June 25, in aid of the British Friends of Neve Shalom - Wahat al-Salam?
Place: The Windmill, Wimbledon Common, Windmill Road, off Wimbledon Parkside
Date/time: Sunday, June 25.
Registration at 9.45am.
Walk starts at 10.30am
Distance: 4 laps of about 1.25 miles each, each lap returning to the Windmill so that those who wish to walk a shorter distance can do 1, 2 or 3 laps.
Extras: free commemorative T-shirt, certificate and bottled water
Leader: Raph Gonley - an experienced walker, but this will not be a strenuous walk. Comfortable walking shoes or trainers will be adequate.
Cost: Adults £7; Children (up to 15) £2; Family £18
