Golden Jubilee of Sr Ann Moore
On Sunday 25th October Sr Ann Moore (Sr Bernard) celebrated her Golden Jubilee - 50 years in Sion. Ann, together with friends and sisters marked her Golden Jubilee in Worthing. Fr Chist Benyon, the local Parish Priest, celebrated the Eucharist.
Ann was joined by friends from Findon and from St Barnabus Hospice where she is a volunteer. Throughout the day reminiscences and stories were recalled. Ann was the Novice Mistress for Teresa Brittain and Margaret Shepherd who joined the congregation in the late sixties, a time of great change within the Cchurch. They spoke of her as being so gentle and understanding - a trait which has remained with Ann to this day.
