Christ is risen! After our 40 days of Lent entering into the sufferings and death of Jesus, we suddenly undergo another experience - the resurrection. It is a story of liberation when God released His Son, Jesus, from the power of death and brought him to new life. The symbols we use tonight - fire, candles and water help us to realise that we also go through the same experience, not only at our own death but also many times in our lives.
Today you are invited to celebrate the new life God brings to us all today and rejoice in all the signs of life you see around.
